About Atlas Polymer Asia
More than four decades of experience: from bottles to modern packaging solutions
Our story began in 1980, when the late Mohammad Rahbar, the founder of this journey, started manufacturing polyethylene bottles. A commitment to quality and an understanding of market needs shaped the business from the outset.
In 1999, as operations expanded into PET packaging, the business began producing PET preforms and bottles under the name Raha Plastic. This marked a turning point in its growth and entry into new packaging fields.
In 2016, Atlas Polymer Asia was established to expand operations, increase production capacity and create a more integrated structure. Drawing on the experience and technical knowledge developed over previous years, the company continued to grow with a focus on the specialist needs of different industries.
In 2023, the addition of polymer cap production expanded the Atlas Polymer Asia product range, enabling the company to supply another component of packaging for its customers.
In 2025, responding to market demand for distinctive packaging, the business introduced packaging printing and specialist coatings, including soft-touch finishes. This was another step towards extending packaging services for the cosmetics, personal care and related sectors.
